Dr Archana Dayal

Dr Archana holds doctorate in biotechnology having over ten years of expertise in biotechnology research & scientific innovations at the esteemed and premier research institute IARI, New Delhi. She has an impressive publication record, contributing extensively to esteemed scientific journals. Dr Archana possesses a solid understanding of regulatory affairs (Pesticides Registration Committee, CIB&RC).

I must say that my husband, Pradeep Kumar, is a great supporter and a continual source of encouragement for Zenomix BioLab. He is an IIT alumnus connected to IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur and employed by the esteemed Geological Survey of India. During his fourteen years as a Polar Scientist, he led multiple remote sensing projects, researched glaciers and climate change in the Arctic and Antarctica, and was part of over ten Indian Scientific Expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctic. His specialty is using remote sensing applications in the Arctic and Antarctic for cryosphere research. He thus wrote many books, book chapters, scientific reports, and research papers nationally and internationally.

V K. Baranwal, Ph.D.

ICAR-National Professor at IARI, New Delhi (Feb 2022–present). M.Sc. (Botany, 1981) & Ph.D. (Virology, 1989) from Lucknow University. Joined ICAR-ARS in 1985; served at CPCRI, NRIIPM, and IARI’s Advanced Centre for Plant Virology (1999–2022) as Senior/Principal Scientist, Professor. Guided 4 M.Sc., 14 Ph.D. students; 150+ papers. Awards: ICAR-IARI Best Teacher, NAAS & NASI Fellowships. International Engagements: DBT-Overseas Associate at Rutgers (2000–01), IPM training in Indonesia (1991), lectures at Florida (2010), Queensland (2012), conferences in Brazil/Thailand. Member of DBT/ICAR committees; secured ICAR (NATP, NASF) & DBT grants. Current Roles: Coordinator, DBT’s Virus Indexing Centre (2015–2025) & ICAR’s All India Network Project on Emerging Pests. Research: Microarray chip for 1100+ viruses; recombinant viral coat proteins; banana badnavirus infectious clones; virus resistance mechanisms/genotypes; virus elimination via meristem culture; HTS-based virome genomics; RPA diagnostics.

Dr Alkesh Hada

Dr Alkesh earned his doctorate in Science with a specialization in Plant Biotechnology is a testament to his commitment to pushing the boundaries of botanical research.

He is a visiting scientist at the prestigious Agricultural Research Organization of Israel.
Dr Alkesh’s expertise spans a wide range of biotechnological applications by solidifying his commitment to exploring the intersections of biology, technology, and innovation. He has been honed through various roles, including Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Research Associate (RA), and National Post-doctorate Fellow-SERB at esteemed IARI and other ICAR institutes in India. His multidisciplinary approach integrates cutting-edge technologies to solve complex challenges, emphasizing the convergence of biology and data-driven solutions. He is a prolific author with numerous publications in leading scientific journals and also has earned the prestigious awards for Excellence in Biotechnological Innovation.

Dr Shiv S Verma

A motivated scientist with a Ph.D. degree in life sciences, specializing in translational cancer research biology. With over 10 years of experience in molecular biology, data science and analysis, proteomics, he brings a wealth of expertise and a forward-thinking approach to investigations. Proficient in applying analytical skills and network strategies, he excels in elucidating mechanisms-of-action of drugs, discovering biomarkers, and identifying new therapeutic targets to overcome drug resistance in cancer.

Not only does Dr Verma possess extensive research experience, but he also demonstrates exceptional leadership skills, capable of effectively leading teams of clinical researchers. His oral and written communication skills are excellent, facilitating seamless collaboration and dissemination of findings.

Dr Ravi Ranjan Kumar Niraj

Dr Ranjan’s research interest is Computer Aided Drug Discovery, Protein Bioinformatics, Peptide drug discovery. 

He is an accomplished bioinformatics professional with extensive academic and research experience. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Amity University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Prior to this, He was an Assistant Professor at Dr. B Lal Institute of Biotechnology, Jaipur, India.

In his academic roles, he has been responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in the fields of Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Bioinformatics. He possess a strong command of Linux/Unix environments for data processing, mining, analysis, and management, alongside a profound knowledge of bioinformatics tools and public databases. His research has involved virtual screening and molecular dynamics simulations of various inhibitors for infectious diseases, collaborating closely with bench scientists to support their research objectives. Additionally, He has mentored numerous students and interns, guiding them in their academic and research endeavors.

Beyond his primary academic roles, He has been a Visiting Professor at the State Key Laboratory of Pulp and Paper Engineering at South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China. He has also served as a Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Pusa Campus, New Delhi, where He specialized in proteomics and transcriptome data analysis, particularly focusing on various molecular biology techniques.

Dr. Navneet Guleria

Dr. Navneet Guleria is a dedicated economist, academician, and social leader currently serving as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak, and has consistently demonstrated academic excellence with degrees in Economics, Political Science, and Education from esteemed institutions including Himachal Pradesh University and Central University of Himachal Pradesh.

Dr. Guleria’s academic interests are complemented by robust research credentials, including a Doctoral Fellowship from the Indian Council of Social Science Research and research contributions under the Centre for Economic Policy Research. His scholarly output includes several peer-reviewed publications on topics such as GST adoption and niche tourism dynamics, reflecting his engagement with contemporary economic challenges.

Beyond academia, Dr. Guleria is an active social entrepreneur and community leader. He is the Managing Director of Prime FM&CS, Director of the Himalayan Welfare Foundation, President of Adarsh Shiksha Samiti, and Chairman of the Bhartiya Himalayan Research Center. These roles underscore his commitment to grassroots development, education, and policy advocacy in the Himalayan region.

With strong leadership, teaching, and research skills, Dr. Guleria has participated in numerous national and international workshops, emphasizing themes of social justice, tribal studies, and economic reform. Driven by a passion for nation-building and community welfare, Dr. Navneet Guleria continues to contribute meaningfully to academic, policy, and social development spheres.

Tapan Kumar, Ph.D.

Senior Scientist

Dr. Tapan Kumar is an accomplished agricultural scientist currently serving at Zenomix Biolab. With a Ph.D. in Bioscience, he brings over a decade of research excellence in crop improvement, with a specialized focus on chickpea breeding. His professional journey includes significant roles at prestigious institutions like the ICAR–Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, and the International Centre for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), India.

Dr. Kumar has made substantial contributions to the development of high-yielding and stress-tolerant chickpea varieties through both conventional and molecular breeding approaches. His expertise spans allele mining, QTL mapping, marker-assisted selection, and the introgression of key traits from wild relatives to improve resilience against biotic and abiotic stresses. He has successfully led large-scale breeding programs, conducted multilocation trials, and facilitated the development of advanced breeding populations.

At Zenomix Biolab, Dr. Kumar is instrumental in integrating molecular technologies with real-world agricultural applications, ensuring that innovations in genomics are translated into practical solutions for farmers and the agriculture industry. His work is widely published in reputed international journals, reflecting his commitment to scientific rigor and impactful research.

Hemlata Verma

Application Scientist

Hemlata Verma is a dedicated and skilled biotechnology professional with a robust academic background, holding an M.Sc in Biotechnology from Dr. Y S Parmar University and a B.Sc from Punjab Technical University. She possesses extensive research experience, particularly in molecular biology, tissue culture, and protein analysis, garnered through various prestigious positions, including Senior Research Fellow at IARI, New Delhi, and Research Associate at ICAR, IIWBR, Shimla. Hemlata’s expertise includes DNA extraction, PCR, genetic transformation, and biochemical estimations. She has a commendable record of academic achievements and active participation in international conferences and workshops.

Vasuki A.

Application Scientist

Dr. Vasuki A is a dedicated researcher in the field of Plant Biotechnology with a strong academic foundation and extensive hands-on experience. Holding a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Bharathidasan University, Dr. Vasuki has specialized in developing innovative protocols, including Menthol oil extraction, nanoparticle synthesis, and insecticidal activity studies. Her work spans diverse areas such as in vitro propagation of aromatic plants, phytochemistry, gene expression analysis, and enhancing breeding efficiency in traditional rice varieties.

She contributed to DBT-funded projects as a Senior Research Fellow, demonstrating expertise in plant transformation, genetic engineering, and the development of organic insecticides targeting stored pests. Dr. Vasuki has also contributed to the scientific community through publications in reputed journals, focusing on topics like endophytic bacteria, traditional rice breeding, and bioactive compound development.

Her active engagement in seminars, technical training, and her capability to bridge research with practical applications underscore her commitment to advancing plant biotechnology and sustainable agricultural practices.

Sadhana

Application Scientist

Sadhana is an aspiring microbiologist with a Master’s degree in Microbiology from Galgotias University and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Krishna College. Passionate about scientific discovery, she gained valuable hands-on experience during her internship at Helix Biogenesis Pvt. Ltd., where she contributed to research projects involving PCR, gel electrophoresis, spectrophotometry, and data analysis. Her role included designing experiments, interpreting results, preparing scientific reports, and ensuring laboratory safety compliance. Sadhana’s strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills were enhanced through collaborative teamwork and active participation in report preparation. Outside the lab, she has demonstrated enthusiasm and versatility through school-level achievements in sports and cultural activities. With a keen eye for detail and a self-motivated attitude, Sadhana is committed to pursuing a career in microbiology research and laboratory sciences, aiming to contribute meaningfully to advancements in the biological sciences.

Saurabh Kumar

Research Assistant

Saurabh Kumar is a motivated MSc Biotechnology student at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, with a solid foundation in molecular biology, microbiology, and bioinformatics. He brings hands-on experience in techniques like PCR, DNA isolation, protein purification, and cell culture. Alongside his academic pursuits, he has contributed in the develepment of the different product of the company and Intern at Zenomix Biolab, promoting biotech lab services and managing client relationships. Known for his adaptability, problem-solving ability, and communication skills, Saurabh is passionate about research and innovation in life sciences and aspires to contribute meaningfully to cutting-edge biotechnology and life science projects.

Parvi Garg

Research Assistant

Parvi Garg is a passionate and hardworking Microbiologist. Graduated from Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology. She has hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques like PCR, DNA sequencing, gel electrophoresis, and cloning, gained through internships at Zenomix Biolab and Rapture Biotech. Known for her creativity, adaptability, and effective communication, she excels in research and quality control within dynamic lab environments. Parvi has received recognition for her work, including the ‘Best Budding Researcher Award’ for her poster on 3-D Food Printing and has published work on post-COVID syndrome. She is a quick learner dedicated to advancing in life sciences.

Neeraj Kumar

Dr. Neeraj Kumar is a skilled Plant Molecular Biologist with a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He possesses over 7 years of research experience, focusing on RNA-Seq analysis, plant tissue culture, and CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing. He has contributed to high-impact publications in plant genetics and biotechnology, with expertise in transcriptome analysis, gene ontology, and pathway mapping. Dr. Kumar has held positions as a Senior Researcher at prominent institutions like the Indian Agriculture Research Institute, and his work addresses challenges in crop resilience, phenotyping, and plant biotechnology, driving advancements in agricultural science.
